Casa Vitacura Moves Ahead after Securing $30 Million Funding

MoDe Studio secured all required funding for its state-of-the-art Casa Vitacura project in the heart of Santiago’s most sustainable neighborhood. MoDe CEO and lead architect for the project, Eduardo Berlin, led the charge in a strategic roadshow for selected investors, looking to raise $12+ million. Ultimately, the landowners and MoDe’s investment arm (MoDe Capital) were joined by the family office of one of the largest business conglomerates in Chile.

MoDe will lead the development, project management, and sales efforts for the 138,000 sf, 51-unit high-end, residential building, expected to break ground by July 2017 and completed by early 2020.

The project’s innovative concept, elegant design, and all-star team, translated into strong fundamentals that enabled highly favorable financing terms with our local partner, Banco de Chile, for the remaining $17 million.

The entire MoDe team is ecstatic to see this project materialize after a long and exciting design and development phase. This project becomes our first end-to-end large-scale development and we are thrilled with what lies ahead. Stay tuned for project updates!
